What plumbing in Glenroy usually involves
Glenroy sits in the City of Merri-bek, postcode 3046. Electric storage hot water unit supplied and installed.
Across this part of Melbourne the recurring jobs are the same handful: hot water units that have reached the end of their life, drainage that was laid for a floor plan the house no longer has, and mains pressure sitting high enough to shorten the life of every tap and hose in the building.
On renovation and extension work the drainage is almost always the deciding factor. Moving a bathroom or adding a room means the existing run needs re-grading and reconnecting to the boundary trap, and that is far cheaper to get right before the slab goes down than after.
Questions
About Glenroy
Yes. Electric storage hot water unit supplied and installed. Glenroy sits inside the regular run across Melbourne and the north west.
It depends on the day and whether the job is urgent. A burst pipe or a failed meter connection gets treated as urgent. For everything else the honest answer comes back with the quote rather than as a promise up front.
The suburb, a sentence on what is happening, and a photo if you can take one safely. For hot water, the age of the unit and whether it is gas or electric. For a leak, whether you have already turned the water off at the meter.
